Adaptive CRM Terminology

CalendTree can speak your industry's language instead of generic CRM terms. This is purely about the words shown on screen — the underlying data (a client is still a client) never changes.

How it works

When you pick an industry during onboarding — Photography, Home & Property, Health & Medical, Education & Tutoring, Auto & Transport, and many others — CalendTree can remap common nouns app-wide. A few examples:

  • Photography: Client → Shoot → Quote → Contract → Proposal → Inquiry
  • Home & Property: Customer → Job → Estimate → Contract → Bid → Lead
  • Health & Medical: Patient → Appointment → Quote → Consent Form → Care Plan → Inquiry
  • Education & Tutoring: Student → Session → Quote → Agreement → Plan

One word never changes: Invoice always stays "Invoice," no matter your industry.

Turning it on or off

Head to Settings → Customize Your CRM. You can:

  • Toggle adaptive terminology on or off entirely
  • Override any individual word yourself, regardless of industry default

What else your industry setting affects

Beyond wording, your industry quietly reorders a few presentational things — which dashboard stats show up first, and which optional tools (Questionnaires, Mileage, Time Tracker, Scheduling Links) are surfaced by default. None of this changes what data you can access — it's all still there under the same menus either way.
