Data Export & Privacy

Exporting your data

Under Settings → Data & Privacy → Export My Data (web) or Data Export (iPhone), you can request a full export of everything CalendTree stores about your account — clients, bookings, invoices, documents, and more — as a single file.

On iPhone, the export is handed directly to the share sheet, so you can save it to Files, AirDrop it, or email it to yourself. On the web, it downloads directly.

Deleting your account

Account deletion is deliberately hard to trigger by accident — you'll be asked to type the word DELETE to confirm before it proceeds. This is permanent, so make sure you've exported anything you want to keep first.

Sharing data with a tax professional

If you work with a tax professional through CalendTree's Partners program, Settings → Share with your tax pro lets you grant access to specific categories of your bookkeeping data — client and contractor names, trip start/end addresses, receipt images, and so on — with each category opted in individually and phrased as exactly what it shares, not just a feature name. This flow never shares your SSN/EIN, payment credentials, or precise GPS routes. Activating a share requires confirming a code sent to your email, and you can see a running activity log of exactly what's been accessed, plus revoke access at any time.
