In-Person Payments on iPhone

How it works

CalendTree accepts in-person card payments through a connected Square card reader. Connect your Square account under Settings → Payments, then pair a reader from the payments wallet in the app.

Taking a payment

From the Mobile Payments Wallet (or directly from an invoice/booking), start a payment, have the client tap or insert their card on the connected reader, and the payment is recorded automatically — the same way an online Square payment link payment would be.

Kiosk Mode

For a self-serve setup — a front desk, a checkout counter — Kiosk Mode presents a simplified, client-facing screen so someone can complete their own payment without you handling the device.

A note on Apple's Tap to Pay

Apple's Tap to Pay on iPhone (accepting a contactless card payment directly against the back of your iPhone, with no separate reader) is not currently available in CalendTree. If you don't have a Square reader handy, use a payment link or invoice instead and have the client pay from their own device.
