Quotes

A quote is a fast, no-frills price estimate you can send straight from a client's profile or a booking request. It supports pricing tiers, custom sections, and the same letterhead/branding options as your other documents.

Proposals

Proposals go a step further, for when you want to present a full package rather than a single number.

Pricing tiers

Both quotes and proposals support multiple pricing tiers — for example, Basic / Standard / Premium. Set up default tier names once, assign individual line items to a tier, and preview each tier's subtotal and total independently so a client can compare options side by side.

Scope of work per tier (proposals)

Proposals let you write a separate Scope of Work description for each tier, or fall back to one shared description if the tiers don't need to differ.

Custom sections and attachments

Add any extra sections you need beyond line items — terms, a project timeline, testimonials — and attach supporting files directly to the document.

Uploading an existing proposal

If you already have a proposal built elsewhere, use the Upload option to bring in that file directly instead of rebuilding it from scratch in CalendTree.

From quote or proposal to the next stage

Once a client is ready to move forward, convert the quote or proposal straight into a contract or an invoice — carrying over everything you've already entered.
