Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: August 22, 2026
CalendTree LLC is committed to making CalendTree usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology.
This statement describes where we actually stand today — what we have tested, what we have fixed, and what we know is still incomplete. We would rather tell you about a real limitation than claim a level of conformance we have not verified.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities. CalendTree targets WCAG 2.1 level AA.
CalendTree is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the product do not yet fully meet the standard. The specific gaps we are aware of are listed under Known limitations below.
What we have done
As of the last review date above, across our public website:
- Text contrast. Body text, labels, links, and disclaimers were raised to meet the 4.5:1 minimum contrast ratio for normal-size text.
- Keyboard navigation. Every page begins with a “Skip to main content” link, and interactive elements show a visible focus outline when reached by keyboard.
- Screen-reader structure. Pages use semantic landmarks and headings, icon-only buttons carry accessible names, and images carry alternative text.
- Form labels. Fields on our booking, questionnaire, quote, and contract pages are programmatically associated with their visible labels, and groups of related choices are announced as a group.
- Reduced motion. Animations and transitions are reduced or removed when your device requests reduced motion.
- Page language. Every page and emailed document declares its language so screen readers pronounce content correctly.
Known limitations
We are aware of the following barriers and are working on them. If one of these blocks you, contact us and we will provide the information or complete the task with you directly.
- Signature capture on contracts. The draw-your-signature pad is a drawing canvas and cannot be operated with a keyboard or screen reader. The “Type” tab on the same page is a fully keyboard-accessible alternative that produces an equally valid signature.
- Charts and analytics. Some charts in the signed-in dashboard and in the iOS app do not yet expose their underlying values to screen readers. The same figures are available as text elsewhere in the product, and we can send them to you on request.
- Third-party payment fields. Card entry is handled by Square’s embedded payment fields. We do not control their markup and cannot guarantee their conformance.
- The signed-in dashboard has had less testing than the public site. Our most recent automated and manual passes concentrated on the pages any visitor or client can reach. Dashboard remediation is in progress.
- The iOS app is partially remediated. Dynamic Type, VoiceOver labels, and minimum touch-target sizes have been applied to some screens but not yet to all of them.
- No full third-party audit yet. Our assessment to date is a self-evaluation. We have not commissioned an independent accessibility audit or formal user testing with assistive-technology users.
How we assessed this
This statement is based on a self-evaluation carried out by CalendTree using:
- Automated testing of every public page with axe-core against the WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 A and AA rule sets.
- Manual review of markup for landmarks, headings, labels, and alternative text.
- Manual keyboard traversal of primary navigation and form flows.
Automated tools catch only a portion of accessibility problems. Passing them is a floor, not proof that a page is usable with assistive technology.
Compatibility
CalendTree is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and with VoiceOver on macOS and iOS. It may not work reliably with browsers older than three major versions, or with assistive technology we have not listed here.
Tell us about a barrier
If you hit an accessibility barrier anywhere in CalendTree — the website, the iOS app, a booking page, an invoice, a contract, or an email we sent — please tell us. Reports from people who actually use assistive technology are the most useful information we get.
Email support@calendtree.com. It helps if you can include the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology and browser or device you were using.
We aim to acknowledge every accessibility report within 5 business days and will tell you what we plan to do and roughly when. If a fix will take time, we will offer another way to complete what you were doing in the meantime.
Formal complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact us again at support@calendtree.com and ask that your report be escalated. You also retain any rights you have under applicable law, including the Americans with Disabilities Act.
