Managing Clients
The Clients list
Every client shows as a card with their photo, name, role/title, company, and a client-type pill. You can sort by recently added, recently modified, or recently worked with (based on their latest booking, invoice, or quote). Contractors and employees don't appear here — they live in the Workers hub instead.
Client types
Each client is tagged as one of: Individual, Business, VIP, Contractor, or Employee. VIP clients get a star marker. Changing a client to Contractor or Employee is how you move them into your team roster.
The client profile
Everything about a client lives on one page, editable inline (no separate "edit" screen):
- Contact info: email, phone, address
- Role at their organization (job title)
- Lead source: Referral, Website, Social Media, Booking Page, Word of Mouth, or Other
- A custom accent color for quick visual scanning
- Organization link (find an existing one or create a new one on the spot)
Below that, tabs break out everything tied to the client: Bookings, Invoices, Quotes, Proposals, Contracts, and Notes, each showing a count.
Quick actions
From a client's profile you can jump straight into creating an Invoice, Quote, Proposal, or Booking — pre-filled with that client, so you never re-type their info.
Adding clients
Add one manually, or import contacts straight from your phone's Contacts app on iPhone. CalendTree can also create a client automatically the first time someone books or submits a form.
A note on your CRM's vocabulary
Depending on your industry setting, you might see "Patient," "Student," or "Customer" instead of "Client" throughout the app — see Adaptive CRM Terminology. The underlying data is identical either way.
