Project Pipeline
The Project Pipeline is a kanban board (web dashboard, Pipeline) tracking each piece of work through its lifecycle: Inquiry → Quoted → Booked → In Progress → Delivered → Invoiced. Finished projects move to a separate Past Projects view (Paid or Lost) so your active board stays focused on what's still moving.
Automatic stage advances
When a client accepts a quote from their public quote page, its linked project automatically advances to Booked — no need to move the card yourself.
Project detail — finances
Each project tracks invoiced, collected, and outstanding totals. Log Deposit and Log Balance work whether or not the project has a linked invoice yet — without one, it records a standalone payment against the project directly.
Workforce & profitability
Assign contractors to a project at either a flat fee or a percentage of the project's value. Profitability calculations use whichever is higher — the amount you planned to pay, or what's actually been paid out — so your margin numbers never look better than reality. Margins are color-coded: green above 20%, amber between 5–20%, and red below 5%.
Expenses on a project
Add a new expense directly against a project, or link one you've already logged elsewhere in Receipts & Expenses. Either way, it flows into that project's profitability and your overall Expenses totals.
